The winner for the JSE’s 2024 Venture Capital Pitch room – founder of StrainIQ collects his winning cheque from the Managing Director of the JSE, Dr. Marlene Street Forrest at the recently held JSE’s 19th Regional Investments & Capital Markets Conference.
StrainIQ – A company registered December 30, 2022 and started operating September 2023 is a Track-and-Trace Software for legal cannabis cultivators, processors, and retailers, designed to meet the Cannabis Licensing Authority requirements.
StrainIQ is the only Track-and-Trace system that is fully compliant with Jamaica’s Cannabis Licensing Authority requirements for cannabis inventory management and reporting.
The founder has been a professional software engineer for over a decade and the winner of a National Innovation Award for his work with the J.U.T.C. He did Lead Consultant work at the Cannabis Licensing Authority, and then for several cannabis cultivators.
