Subsidiaries & Divisions

The JSE has two subsidiaries, which are: The Jamaica Central Securities Depository Limited (JCSD) and Jamaica Social Stock Exchange (JSSE).
There are several divisions within the JSE. However, of special mention are: The Regulatory and Market Oversight Division (RMOD) and The e-Campus.
The JCSD also has its own subsidiary, The JCSD Trustee Services  Limited (JCSDTS).

Subsidiaries

The Jamaica Central Securities Depository Limited (JCSD) a wholly owned subsidiary of the JSE, holds securities in electronic form and provides custody and settlement services to investors through their brokers.  The JCSD also has a wholly owned subsidiary, the JCSD Trustee Services Limited.

The Jamaica Social Stock Exchange (JSSE) seeks to engage the entire Jamaican economy in promoting the Social Capital Market. The platform of the JSSE enables investments in sustainable social projects and by extension promotes the socio-cultural economy.

JCSD Trustee Services (JCSDTS) was founded in July 2008 for the expressed purpose of providing efficient, reliable and cost-effective trustee services to the financial services industry. The Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Jamaica Central Securities Depository (JCSD)

Divisions

The JSE by Board Resolution dated November 13, 2007, approved the establishment of the Regulatory and Market Oversight Committee (RMOC) and a Regulatory and Market Oversight Division (RMOD).

The JSE e-Campus was founded in 2010. The e-Campus is committed to providing professionals across the various sectors that the JSE serves, with transformational career development training.
