Corporate Actions

A Corporate Action is a market event initiated by a listed company that may impact the Company’s stakeholders. These events are generally approved by the company's board of directors and must be reported to the Exchange within the stipulated timeline, as they are considered material events. For some Corporate Actions, shareholders are asked to vote on the issue as the action could bring significant change to the company. Examples of corporate actions include dividends, stock splits, bonus, rights issues and additional public offers (APOs).
