Tropical Battery Company Limited (TROPICAL) notified the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) on November 29, 2021 that it will not be able to meet the deadline of November 30, 2021 to file its Audited Financial Statements for the year ended September 30, 2021. The Company states that the delay is due to disruptions caused by the current global Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on the auditing and actuarial processes for the Company’s financial statements. TROPICAL anticipates that the audited financial statements will be filed by December 14, 2021.
