Sygnus Credit Investments Limited (SCI) has advised that Ms. Nakita Edwards tendered her resignation as a director of the Company, effective October 25, 2019. Ms. Edwards was also the Chair of the Audit and Governance Committee.
SCI stated further that Ms. Edwards, who would have retired by rotation at the 2019 Annual General Meeting, was eligible for re-election. However, she had informed the Company that she will not offer herself for re-election and tendered her resignation effective October 25, 2019.
SCI has further advised that the resignation of Ms. Edwards, a member of the Audit Committee, was not due to any disagreement in respect of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure or any other material issue impacting on the Audit Committee or the member’s ability to properly carry out the functions delegated by the Board.
