On August 28, 2023, our auditors, KPMG, informed us that the review process for the audited financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2023, is still ongoing. Consequently, KPMG will not be able to deliver the audited financial statements to SCI in time to meet the prescribed JSE filing date of August 29, 2023.
SCI is anticipating receipt of the audited financial statements from KPMG, such that they can be submitted to the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE”) on or before Monday, September 4, 2023.
The Board and Management of SCI apologise to our shareholders and stakeholders for this undue delay and advise that this matter is entirely outside of our control.
