C. LEOPOLD NESBETH – Chairman of the Board of Directors

Mr. Clide Leopold Nesbeth is a management professional with over thirty years experience in the areas of Administration, Sales and Marketing management, twenty-five of which have been at the senior and general management level. He is also a trained teacher, with over four years’ experience in the training of students in these areas of discipline.  

Mr. Nesbeth’s employment history includes such notable appoints as:

  1. General Manager of CMA CGM Jamaica Ltd. where he led the agency to become one of the top shipping agencies on the island and was involved in the negotiation for and acquisition of Kingston Freeport Terminal on behalf of CMA CGM;
  2. Sales and Marketing Manager at a subsidiary of the Seprod Group of Companies Limited where he had responsibility for the local and export sales and marketing of the company’s soaps, detergents and bleach;
  3. Group Marketing Manager of CMP Industries Limited;
  4. Sales Manager with Jamaica Cane Products where he was responsible for the distribution and sale of locally produced sugar on the local market and was involved in the effort to reposition locally consumed sugar from a pulk to a prepackaged presentation.

Among his academic and professional qualifications Mr. Nesbeth holds the Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma in Marketing Management, the Post Graduate Diploma in Education and the Master of Commerce degree in Marketing from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland.

DINO HINDS – Director

Mr. Dino Hinds has over 28 years’ experience in Investment and Commercial Banking.  He has held several senior roles in the local financial sector including the posts of Senior VP for Treasury Trading and Asset Management at Mayberry Investments as well as Acting Head of Treasury and Investments at First Global Bank. He is also a past Treasurer of  the Small Business Association of Jamaica.

Dino has extensive expertise in the areas of FX trading, bond trading, asset and liability management, stock trading and pension fund management. His expertise spans both back-office administrative operations and revenue generating departments.

During his career Dino has generated billions of dollars annually for the companies he has worked with.  During the past 8 years he has lead the team that grew revenues at MFS Group from 5 million annually to currently over 300 million annually.
Dino has a certificate in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies and a MBA in Business Administration from the University College of the Caribbean.

ROBERT BARNES – Director  

Mr. Robert Barnes is a Banking and Finance Professional with over 30 years’  experience managing, developing and assessing enterprise operations risk across multiple sectors including Banking and Finance, Investments, Renewable Energy, Real Estate, Hospitality, and Tourism.

Robert is proficient in a variety of operating systems, frameworks, and management culture. His key areas of expertise include:

  1. Policy Framework & Design;
  2. Requirements gathering and Business Analysis;
  3. Banking and Banking Law;
  4. Lending;
  5. Corporate Governance
  6. Operational Risk Management Audit;
  7. Anti-Money Laundering;
  8. Team Building and Project Management; and
  9. Real Estate Construction Management.

Robert has a passion for transforming vague ideas into tangible business solutions and enjoys participation in the full life cycle of the development process.  He brings a wealth of experience having operated in the markets of multiple jurisdictions including Jamaica, Canada, United States, Guyana, and Grenada.

Mr. Barnes studied banking at CAST (UTECH), before completing a Double Major Bachelors of Science degree in Management and Accounting (Hons) at the University of The West Indies, Mona and then an MBA in Finance (Hons) at the University of Manchester (UK). Mr. Barnes has also completed several Post Graduate Diploma courses in Compliance & Risk Management with the University of Manchester (UK) in collaboration with the International Compliance Association. Mr. Barnes has completed various other courses including a Financial Institutions Directors Training programs with USAID and Govstrat, Euromoney Investment Risk Management, Internal Auditing and Project Management. 

Mr Barnes is also a director of Remax Elite and Chairman of UCC Real Estate Investment Development Ltd.

CHRISTINE E. JOHNSON – Director

Ms. Christine Johnson is an Attorney-At-Law with a reputation for strong integrity, professional and service delivery with a passion for mentoring and coaching, team building and service excellence. She has extensive experience in Company and Contract Law, Litigation, Conveyancing, Prosecution, Research, Office Management, Customer Relations, Service Audits, Legal Policy Management, Public and Private Sector Engagements. Her assignments within the private sector have spanned individual clients and businesses, including Conveyancing, Intellectual Property, Probate, Family Law, Company Law and Administration.

She is currently a Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions for Jamaica. Of particular note is her role as Deputy Unit Head of the Human Rights, Intellectual Property & Sexual Offences Unit and Team Leader of Intellectual Property within the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. She also performs duties as the Unit Head of the Labour Relations and Industrial Disputes Unit. As a member of the Mutual Legal Assistance & Financial Crimes Unit she provides legal advice and liaises with States for Investigative Purposes.

Her professional certifications include being:

  1. An International Fellow of NAGTRI (National Association of Attorneys General – USA);
  2. A Certified Mediator with The Dispute Resolution Foundation;
  3. A Certified Real Estate Salesman – Real Estate Board of Jamaica;
  4. Professionally certified in Industrial Relations; and
  5. Certified with ‘Train the Trainer’ – National Centre for State Courts USA.

ANIKA N. JENGELLEY – Director

Mrs. Anika Jengelley has been the Member Relations Manager of the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) since November 2020. An experienced communications and marketing leader with over two decades of experience, Anika has held senior marketing and communications management and consulting positions both locally and internationally, in markets such as New York City, Mexico City and Paris.

Prior to joining the PSOJ, she worked as a consultant for several companies, including local technology outfits, a global market leader in the payments industry, and a local-based petroleum marketer and retailer. She was the Assistant Vice President of Marketing at Mayberry Investments for just under 7 years, where she successfully led the marketing and PR programme as a member of the broker team, in support of the Government of Jamaica’s (GOJ) divestment of Wigton Windfarm Limited, the largest GOJ divestment since the 1980s. Before her time at Mayberry, she served as the Senior Marketing Coordinator at the RJR Communications Group, where she managed the communications efforts attached to the company’s corporate sponsorships, as well as other large marketing projects including the RJR Sports Foundation Sportsman and Sportswoman of the year Awards.

While living overseas, Anika worked in New York City as a consultant for several companies, such as, Alumina Technical Consultants, a Florida-based mining technology company, Boddie & Associates, a New York-based law firm and David N. Deutsch & Company, a New York-based boutique investment bank. She has also worked as a Market Research Analyst at GFK International’s Paris office.

Anika earned a Bachelor’s degree in French Language and Literature from the University of the West Indies, Mona and a Master’s degree in French Studies and International Business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her multilingual background along with her experience in cross-cultural communications and international marketing have helped open doors for her with international companies and organisations operating in global markets.

She enjoys tennis, running, reading, and spending time with her husband and 2 daughters.
