Seprod Suspended

JAMAICA STOCK EXCHANGE SUSPENDS SEPROD GROUP LTD.

(KINGSTON, MAY 11, 2007): Effective May 14, the Jamaica Stock Exchange will be suspending  trading  in the shares of Seprod Group Ltd. as a result of the Company’s non-compliance with the JSE Rule 407 which speaks to the submission of Quarterly Financial Statements within 45 days of the end of a company’s financial period.

The General Manager Mrs. Marlene Street Forrest says that “a company with financial statements which are forty-five (45) days overdue shall have trading in their shares suspended until the reports are submitted to the Exchange”. Seprod has failed to submit their 4th Quarter Financials which where due on February 14, 2007 and should have been submitted to the JSE 45 days later.

Mrs. Street Forrest has indicated that the Stock Exchange has been in dialogue with Seprod on the outstanding financials. However, trading in the shares will be suspended until the company becomes compliant.
