Seprod Limited (SEP) wishes to advise that its audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2022 will be released on or before August 31, 2023. Seprod wishes to inform the market that the postponement of the release of its audited financial statements is due to delays arising from:
- The financial year end of A.S. Bryden and Sons Holdings Limited (ASB) being changed from March 31 to December 31 to align with that of the rest of the Seprod Group;
- The auditors of ASB being changed to be consistent with the rest of the Seprod Group; and
- Further delays in receiving reports from independent experts resident in Trinidad and Barbados (such reports are required under International Financial Reporting Standards to account for the acquisition of ASB and the work of these experts must be subsequently reviewed by external auditors).
Seprod thanks its stakeholders for their continued support and remains confident that this matter will be concluded on or before August 31, 2023.
