Scotia Group reports net income of $8.37 billion and total comprehensive income of $9.58 billion for the nine months ended July 31, 2016. This represents an increase in net income of $2.21 billion or 36%, and in total comprehensive income of $579 million compared to the period ended July 31, 2015. Net Income for the third quarter was $3.4 billion, representing a $385 million increase over the second quarter ended April 30, 2016.
