Scotia Group Jamaica Limited has advised that Mr. Brian Porter retired as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Scotia Group Jamaica Limited at its Annual General Meeting on March 1, 2013 consequent on his appointment as President of the Bank of Nova Scotia (Canada). Effective March 1, 2013, the Board of Directors appointed Ms. Sylvia Chrominska as the new Chairman and she has been a member of the Board of Directors since August 27, 2009.
