SALADA FOODS JAMAICA LIMITED (SALF) – Transfer of Mountain Peak Food Processors Limited (MPFP) business operations to SALF

Salada Foods Jamaica Limited (SALF) wishes to advise that after careful consideration the Board of SALF have decided with effect as at October 1, 2021 (“the Effective Date”) that the business operations of Mountain Peak Foods Processors Limited (MPFP), a wholly owned subsidiary of SALF, as a going concern, including all of MPFP’s assets and liabilities, will be transferred to Salada.  The Board does not expect the transfer of MPFP’s operational business and assets and liabilities to Salada to have any operational impact or material financial impact on the consolidated net assets, earning per share capital and substantial shareholdings for SALF.  The Board also do not foresee any significant risk or liability to be assumed by SALF.
