Mr. Andrew Gordon has resigned from the Board of Directors of the company and Messrs. Ronald Chin-Loy and Dalton Chen have been appointed as directors of the company.
Due to his involvement in the JBC/RJR merger, Mr. Lester Spaulding has expressed the desire to be relieved of the duties of Chairman, and it is intended that at the annual general meeting he will step down as Chairman but will remain as a member of the Board of the Directors.
The directors have decided that Salada should concentrate on its core business and has divested its shares in its Cuban subsidiary.
