New Open Date for SGJ & BNS Registrar & Transfer Agent

Scotia Group Jamaica Limited and The Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Limited have advised that due to the passage of Tropical Storm Gustav, the share registers of both companies will be open on Thursday, September 4, 2008 instead of Monday, September 1, 2008.
