The Board of Directors of NCB Capital Markets Limited, at a Board meeting held on January 10, 2007, approved an interim dividend of 11.75 per cent on the amount of $300,000,000 in respect of the 11.75% Cumulative Redeemable “A” Preference Stock Units for the period July 28, 2006 to January 27, 2007. The dividend is payable on January 29, 2007 to shareholders on record as at January 25, 2007.
For the financial year ended September 30, 2006 the Company achieved an annualized average Return on Equity of 19.65 per cent. A bonus dividend was therefore not considered by the directors.
