Mrs. Norton-Coke is currently the Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer (Vice Presidential Level) at the University of Technology. Her experience in her areas of expertise spans over thirty years. She is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional and a Certified Professional Accountant. She was educated at the University of the West Indies; Nova Southeastern University (Fort Lauderdale, USA) and the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. She is an attorney-at-law and is a member of the Nuttall Memorial Board; Chairman of the Tax Committees of the Jamaica Bar Association and the Jamaica Institute of Chartered Accountants. She is currently pursuing the Doctoral Programme, University of the West Indies, Mona (Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies) in Taxation.
Mrs. Coke gave a very in sightful presentation on the proposed “Tax Reform” by the government. Her presentation had all the participants’ riveted to their seat.
