The 2024 Regional Investments and Capital Markets will see its 19th year and the JSE Group will be making some important milestones also in 2024. The JSE will celebrate 55 years; Jamaica Central Securities Depository, 25 years; JCSD Trustee Services Limited,15 years and the Jamaica Social Stock Exchange (JSSE) five (5) years of operations.

Conference 2024 will be held from Tuesday, 23rd January to Thursday, 25th January, fully in person at The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, Kingston, Jamaica with limited VIRTUAL access, under the theme “The Drivers of Capital: From Concept to Growth”. By its successful staging each year, JSE’s Regional Conference has earned its place as a calendar event to which government officials, leading experts in business, investors, and other stakeholders, locally and worldwide look forward to attending each year.
It has been the Jamaica Stock Exchange’s (JSE’s) intention from inception for its Regional Conference to be hosted in other countries in the region. In 2023, in its 18th year, the JSE were able to plan and execute a world class conference, in keeping with the reputation known in our corporate landscape, in Guyana on the 3rd & 4th of October, at the Pegasus Corporate Suites in Georgetown, under the theme “Guyana’s Capital Market: Wealth Creation and Retention”. The event was well supported with over 300 persons attending on the Opening Night and 240 persons on the second day, with attendees representing eight (8) different countries across the region, USA, Canada and Europe.
Conference 2024 is set to be more exciting and engaging than ever before as there will be more people in attendance than normal, and speakers will be able to have more interaction as we are looking to target participants from across the globe.
We expect to have people join the Conference from Asia, Africa, Europe and North and South America, Guyana, Trinidad, and St. Kitts. This shows that Conference 2024 will be greater, and this will enhance the popularity of JSE’s Conference, making it among the best conferences in the world.
