Meet Alexandre Ibrahim one of JSE featured speaker for the 2006 regional conference.

Alexandre  Ibrahim joined the New York Stock Exchange in the fall of 1999 as an account manager for the International Client Services department of the New York Stock Exchange covering Latin America, Portugal and Spain. In 2004 he was promoted to Managing Director of the Global Corporate Client Group where he is responsible for managing the relationships between the New York Stock Exchange and the listed companies, investment banks, law firms and exchanges throughout Latin America.

 

Mr. Ibrahim, a Brazilian native, began his career in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in the marketing department of a multinational corporation. He later managed the United States operations of this organization.  In the United States he developed, evaluated and assisted in executing strategic partnership, agreements, alliances and joint ventures in the United States and Brazilian markets

 He holds a B.S. degree in marketing and international trade and an MBA degree from the Zicklin School of Business in New York. He also attended the school of engineering at Universidade Gama Filho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
