Dr. William W. Lawrence is a management consultant and Director of the Professional Services Unit at Mona School of Business, the University of the West Indies. He specializes in business restructuring and turnaround. His roadmap for rebuilding business profitability featured recently as the cover story of the May 2011 edition of Industrial Engineer magazine published by the IIE in the United States. William has used this approach in Jamaica to rescue several businesses from losses and insolvency. He has served as an adjunct professor of operations management at four universities and is a trustee of the Small Business Association of Jamaica.
Dr. Lawrence’s made an excellent presentation at the Jamaica Stock Exchange, National Investor Education Week Expo at the Montego Bay Convention Centre, on Wednesday September 21, 2011. His presentation was on” Rebuilding Business Profitability” – A user-friendly roadmap for making correct business decisions to recover from profit decline.
