The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) is proud to inform the public that its mobile app for Apple devices is now available and can be downloaded from the Apple Store. The app is free to all users.
Miss Suzette McNaught, JSE’s Information Technology (IT) Manager, in her comments on the release of the app stated that “We are pleased that apple device users can now access the JSE market data readily to make timely and informed decisions. We encourage these users within Jamaica, the Caribbean and the world to download the App and keep in touch with current activities in our market. Also, we daily improve on our quality, therefore, we ask that you provide us with feedback to allow us to improve our service delivery.”
Mrs. Marlene Street Forrest, JSE’s Managing Director, stated that the release of the mobile app is part of the strategic direction of the JSE. “As more and more persons invest in the market for wealth creation, we see this as a medium for investors to have information on the market readily, in order to make timely and informed decisions. This App is important especially in the fast paced environment in which we live where persons need to access and digest information quickly. The JSE continues to work to ensure that products and services that are relevant to the market in this modern era is delivered to the investing public on a timely basis.”
