The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) culminated its annual Market Research Competition with presentations by two finalists, on Thursday, June 26, 2014. In a ceremony held at the Knutsford Court Hotel, where Shaneka Wynter, Research Analyst at NCB Capital Markets edged out her competitor, Sutanya Chedda, a post graduate Student at London’s Mountbatten Institute, to take first place in the competition.
Shaneka Wynter is a Research Analyst at NCB Capital Markets, and has over five years’ experience in the financial sector. Her current duties include providing analyses on economic developments and investment recommendation on equities and fixed income opportunities. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science from the University of the West Indies and was awarded the UWI Principal’s Scholarship for Excellence in 2006. She is currently pursuing the CFA designation. Shaneka enjoys outdoor activities such as taking road trips, hiking, and attending concerts.
