The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) culminated its annual Market Research Competition with presentations by two finalists, on Thursday, June 26, 2014. In a ceremony held at the Knutsford Court Hotel, where Shaneka Wynter, Research Analyst at NCB Capital Markets edged out her competitor, Sutanya Chedda.
Sutanya Chedda is currently enrolled in the Mountbatten Institute’s Graduate programme in London where she is completing a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business Practices while interning as an Investment Products Platform (IPP) Analyst at UBS AG. Her current duties include investment product management, project management, operational & structural enhancement, and business analysis. Before undertaking this prestigious opportunity, she worked in the Treasury & Correspondent Banking Division at NCBJ in the capacity of Management Trainee. Sutanya has been in the financial sector for over 5 years. She holds a BSc. in Economics (Major), Statistics (Minor) from the University of the West Indies and was awarded the UWI Open Scholarship in 2007. She is currently pursuing the CFA designation and will also be undertaking the FRM and ERP designations in the near future. Sue (as she is affectionately called) revels in adventure, exploration and travel. She also enjoys listening to music, dancing, learning languages, fine dining and high fashion.
