Jamaica Public Service Company Limited (JPS) has announced that Marubeni Corporation has entered into a Purchase and Sale Agreement with Korea East-West Power (EWP), for joint ownership of majority shares in JPS. This Agreement was signed on April 5, 2011. The transaction, which represents the transfer of a 40% interest in JPS to EWP, is expected to be completed by the end of June, 2011.
