Jamaica Public Service Co. Ltd – Changes in Audit Committee

Jamaica Public Service Company Limited (JPS) has advised that effective December 5, 2014, Mr. Fitzroy Vidal is no longer a member of the Audit Committee of JPS and Professor Evan Duggan is no longer a member of the Finance Committee. Mr. Vidal and Professor Evan Duggan are the director representatives of the Government of Jamaica (GOJ), a shareholder in JPS. In an effort to provide Government Board member with a wide knowledge and understanding of the operations of the Company, Mr. Vidal stepped down from the Audit Committee to serve on the Finance Committee and a newly formed Operations Committee and Professor Duggan stepped down from the Finance Committee to serve on the Audit Committee. The members of the JPS Audit Committee are as follows: Catherine Kennedy (Chairman) (MaruEnergy Representative), Prof. Evan Duggan (Government Representative) and Mr. Geun Tae Kim (EWP Representative). Other attendees to this Committee meeting are Ms. Kelly Tomblin (President & CEO), Mrs. Leisa Batiste-White (Head, Internal Audit), Ms. Katherine P.C. Francis (Corporate Secretary) and Ms. Kim Robinson (Assistant Corporate Secretary).
