GraceKennedy Limited has advised that in view of his upcoming retirement from the GraceKennedy Board which will take place on October 7, 2010, and to facilitate a smooth transition, Mr. Christopher Bovell has stepped down as Chairman of the Corporate Governance & Nomination Committee and Lead Non-Executive Director of GraceKennedy Limited. The Company`s articles state that all directors then in office must retire from the Board on their 72nd birthday. Professor Gordon Shirley, Principal of the University of the West Indies and member of the GraceKennedy Board since May 30, 1996 was appointed the new Chairman of the Corporate Governance & Nomination Committee and Lead Non-Executive Director of GraceKennedy Limited effective July 29, 2010.
