Gleaner Company Ltd.(1834)- Acquisition

The Hon. Oliver F. Clarke, Chairman and Managing Director of the Gleaner Co. and Mr. J.A. Lester Spaulding, C.D., J.P., Chairman and Managing Director of the Radio Jamaica Ltd., on behalf of their respective Boards of Directors are pleased to advise that negotiations have been completed for RJR’s acquisition of 20% of the shares in the Gleaner Company (UK) Ltd, a subsidiary of the Gleaner Co. The Gleaner Co. (UK) Ltd and its subsidiaries are publishers of the Weekly Gleaner, The Voice and Young Voices from its offices in Brixton, London.
