Gleaner Company Ltd.(1834) – Acquisition of the Voice (London)

The Gleaner Company (UK) Ltd, a subsidiary of the Gleaner Company Ltd, has on Tuesday, May 18 , 2004 purchased full ownership of the Voice, Britians best-known and largest ethnic newspaper. The Gleaner (UK) Ltd will be paying Two Million Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Pounds to the former owners for the shares as well as re-financing the operation of the Voice. The Gleaner’s total investment in the Voice will be approximately Three Million Five Hundred Thousand Pounds.
