CARIBBEAN PRODUCERS JAMAICA LIMITED: BASIS OF ALLOTMENT OF SHARES TO THE PUBLIC
 
Kingston: Mayberry Investments Limited (MIL), lead broker in the application for admission of Caribbean Producers Jamaica Limited (the Company) to the Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) is advising that the basis of allotment of the shares offered to the public subject to the prospectus of the Company dated July 8, 2011 (the Prospectus) has now been finalised.
 
MIL received 1,339 applications for 1.2 billion shares valued at approximately $2.4 billion.   The Company’s Prospectus offered shares valued at $432 million, so the offer was significantly oversubscribed and accordingly, it was closed early.    The Company has now determined the basis of allotment of the shares in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the Prospectus:
 
1.      RESERVED SHARES TO KEY PARTNERS –
·         5 million shares – satisfied as to 100%.
·         5,001 million shares – proportionately allocated.
 
2.      SHARES TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC
·         Applications for 75,000 shares or less – satisfied as to 100%.
·         Applications for 75,001 or more shares – proportionately allocated.
 
3.      EMPLOYEES
Applications fully satisfied.
 
4.      BOARD MEMBERS
Applications fully satisfied.
 
For Applicants who are not MIL clients, refund cheques will be prepared and can be collected from 1 1/2 Oxford Road, Kingston 5, during normal business hours commencing July 31, 2011.  For Applicants who are MIL clients, refund amounts will be credited to their respective accounts also commencing July 31, 2011.
 
All Applicants will receive a formal letter advising them of their respective allotment of shares in the Company in due course, on or before July 31, 2011.
