The JSE congratulates Mr. Henry on entering and winning the fourth quarter 2021/2022 Market Research Competition with his submission on analysing Lumber Depot.
Mr. Ojae Henry began his career in general insurance and was registered with the Financial Services Commission (FSC) to underwrite motor and property insurance risks. He now serves in the pension industry as a Pensions Administrator at VM Pensions Management Limited, a subsidiary of the VM Group. He is the holder of a Master of Science in Corporate Finance and a Bachelor of Science with double majors in Economics and Banking & Finance from the University of the West Indies, Mona. He is also the holder of the Jamaican Securities Certificate from the Jamaica Stock Exchange.
His interest in local and international finance and economics was sparked during his formative years in high school and has been a continuous driving force to garner as much information and exposure in the field. This intrigue has been a catalyst in Mr. Henry’s development as an ardent and meticulous analyst, which has impacted the trajectory of his career aspirations and personal growth.
Ojae is self-motivated, industrious and is respectful in his engagements with all, he is also an avid football player and enjoys outdoor activities. We anticipate great things from Ojae as he continues to grow in his professional pursuits.
