NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT OF A DIRECTOR
The Company wishes to advise that its Board of Directors approved the appointment of Mr. Stephen Dear as an Independent Executive Director effective May 9, 2023.
Stephen W. R. Dear, J.P., is a highly skilled professional with a diverse range of abilities. His special skills include leadership, prototype development, problem analysis, long-term profitability strategizing, and risk management, among others. Stephen was educated in Spain and in Canada, with degrees in Accounting & Finance. Stephen has more than 25 years of experience, working in the Finance and Banking sectors in Jamaica. He has also worked at Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC).
Stephen is actively involved in various affiliations and community engagements. He also has a keen interest in squash, sailing, tennis, swimming, and other recreational pursuits.
Stephen replaces Ron Schrager as the Chair of the Audit Committee for CPJ.
We wish to thank Ron, who will continue to serve the committee and board, for the many years of Service, and welcome Stephen to the Board, and Chair of the Audit Committee.
