Cable Bahamas (CAB) has advised of the resignation of Mr. Calvin Knowles, Audit Committee member. The Company states that the resignation was in no way whatsoever related to any disagreement in respect of accounting principles of practice, financial statements disclosure or any other material issue impacting on the Audit Committee or the member’s ability to properly carry out functions delegated by the Board.
CAB further states that Mr. Knowles resignation from CAB’s Board of Directors and ipso facto the Audit Committee was, in fact, a result of the change in Government on May 6, 2017, and the new administration’s decision to appoint new directors to represent its shareholdings in CAB.
