Briefing the GG on National Investor Week

WELL MET: Governor General Sir Kenneth Hall (centre) smiles broadly as he receives a gift from General Manager of the Jamaica Stock Exchange Mrs. Marlene Street-Forrest (right) and JSE’s CEO Roy Johnson. The occasion was a recent courtesy call on the GG to brief him about the developments on the local and regional stock markets as well as information about National Investor Education Week which will be held October 17 – 22, 2006. The theme of the Week is: “Creating Better Investment Opportunities for All Jamaicans.” The week aims to focus national attention of the importance of investing and is envisioned to be a calendar event and will be a distinctive forum for constituents of the financial services sector to meet directly with potential and existing investors
