Blue Power Group Limited wishes to advise its shareholders, stakeholders and the Jamaica Stock Exchange that at a meeting of the Board of Directors held on Thursday June 2,2022, Mrs. Lisa Kong-Lee was appointed Executive Director and Mr. Vishwanauth Tolan appointed General Manager of the Blue Power Group Ltd. with effect from June 1, 2022. Mrs. Kong-Lee previously held the position of General Manager since her appointment in March 2020 and continues her role as the Company Secretary. Mr. Tolan previously held the post of Commercial and Operations Manager.
The Board Chairman Mr. Jeffrey Hall stated: “The changes are directly in line with our succession plan. Lisa Kong Lee has a wealth of experience in soap manufacturing and corporate finance and general business leadership. We are thrilled that she will now join the board of Blue Power Group and continue to lead the business as Executive Director.”
According to Mr. Hall, “Vishwanauth Tolan brings strong commercial and operational experience to the role of General Manager of Blue Power Group and we are confident that he will play an important role in positioning the core Blue Power soap business for solid growth in the years ahead.”
