Scotia Group Jamaica Limited (SGJ) has advised that the Bank of Jamaica has concluded its `Fit and Proper Assessment` of Sylvia Chrominska, Group Head – Global Human Resources and Communication of Scotiabank, Canada and accordingly raises no objection to her appointment to the board of directors of The Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Limited (BNSJ). Miss Chrominska`s appointments to the Boards of BNSJ and SGJ will take effect from February 23 and 24, 2010, respectively.
