The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) is proud to announce that its Postgraduate Course has been accredited by the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ). This means that Diploma obtained by persons who pursued this course of study is recognized in Jamaica and internationally as a diploma of a standard fit for use and acceptance globally.
According to JSE’s Managing Director, Mrs. Marlene Street Forrest, “We are very delighted with this accreditation. We have been working very hard since the JSE e-Campus has been established to ensure that our Post Graduate Diploma is recognized and that all the students who pursue this course are confident that their achievement will be duly recognized and valued within the financial industry and within the workplace”.
“She went on to state, “With this accreditation, we are anticipating that more participants both locally and overseas will pursue this Course of Study, as the JSE is the only institution in Jamaica that has an accredited Post Graduate Diploma for the Financial Sector geared towards Continued Professional Development (CPD).”
The new Principal of e-Campus, Mr. Samuel Parkes states, “I am very happy to have joined the JSE at this time. I thank those before who have worked diligently to have this accreditation. I will be working to ensure that the standard of the Post Graduate Diploma is not only maintained but continues to be relevant and in sync with the market needs of the sector”.
