Wigton Windfarm Limited trading as Wigton Energy (“WIG”) has advised that it has appointed Mr. Norman Naar as WIG’s Chief Commercial Officer effective September 16, 2024.
This new appointment comes in the wake of the changes that were made to the leadership and organizational chart in August 2023 and specifically related to the job position of Business Development and Innovation Manager, which job title has been changed to that of Chief Commercial Officer.
Mr. Naar, as Chief Commercial Officer, will be responsible for implementing the commercial strategy of WIG; driving the business development efforts of WIG by identifying new opportunities and cultivating relationships; and achieving growth targets.
Mr. Naar is a global business development leader with extensive experience in the areas of strategic planning and development, business development, sales, marketing, operations, information technology and project management. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Wales & Manchester Business School, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Physics from the University of the West Indies, Mona and is a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute.
