Wigton Windfarm Limited trading as Wigton Energy (“WIG”) has advised that it will list its property situated at Lot 28 Ferry Pen, St. Andrew, Jamaica for sale.
The Board of Directors of WIG in July 2024 conducted a strategic planning review. The Board firmly believes that its new strategic objectives and business expansion plans, primarily in renewable energy and associated technologies, represent a strong future to grow shareholder value, further diversify Jamaica’s energy mix and contribute to the provision of energy to consumers at lower costs.
In light of the foregoing, it was determined that investments in real estate and real estate development not be pursued at this time.
