The Scotia Group Jamaica Ltd has advised that effective September 1, 2008, Duke Corporation Limited has been appointed the Registrar and Transfer Agent for Scotia Group Jamaica Limited and the Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Limited . In light of this change in Registrar, the respective Share Registers of these companies will be closed during the period August 25 to August 29, 2008 to facilitate the take over exercise.
