Scotia Group Jamaica Limited (SGJ) has advised that on June 11, 2020, their Board of Directors passed the following resolution:-
“Be it resolved that a second interim dividend of 45 cents be paid on each
stock unit of the paid up capital stock of the Company to Stockholders on
record as at the close of business on June 30, 2020 and that the same be
payable on July 22, 2020.
Consequent to guidance issued by the Regulator, the payment of dividends
shall be limited to Shareholders that own less than 1% of the Group’s
shares. The Company has obtained agreement and consent from all
Shareholders that own 1% or more of the Group’s shares with respect to
the deferral of payment of this dividend declaration until such appropriate
time to be determined in consultation with the Regulator.”
The ex-dividend date is June 29, 2020.
