Radio Jamaica Limited (RJR) has advised that the 120-day period of layoff implemented in May 2020 for some workers of the Company has expired:
“A reorganization of the business affairs of all the subsidiaries under the RJRGLEANER Communications Group umbrella is advanced. However, more time and consultations with all stakeholders are required and being undertaken.
“As a result, the layoff period for most of the affected workers has been extended,” stated RJR.
