Radio Jamaica Limited (RJR) has advised that that the March 31, 2016 audited financial accounts of the Company which were due to be published on or before May 30, 2016, will instead be published on or before June 30, 2016.
The delay has arisen as a result of the additional accounting and audit activities associated with the recently concluded Scheme of Arrangement for Amalgamation which took place between the Company and 1834 Investments Limited (formerly The Gleaner Company Limited) earlier this year.
RJR further stated that shareholders will be advised via their website, the electronic and print media as soon as the accounts are finalized and available for publishing.
