The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Radio Jamaica Limited, J.A. Lester Spaulding, has announced the appointment of Gary Allen as Managing Director of the Group, with effect from October 1, 2008.
Mr. Allen, who has had a career in media, has been the Deputy Managing Director of the Group since 2006.
Mr. Allen’s appointment will follow on the retirement of Mr. Spaulding from the post of Managing Director after serving in that capacity for 30 years.
Mr. Spaulding will continue to serve the Group as its Chairman with executive responsibility for specific strategic special projects.
