QWI Investments Limited – Basis of Allocation

NCB Capital Markets Limited has provided the information regarding the Basis of Allocation for the QWI Investment Limited Initial Public Offer.

The Methodology for allotment of Ordinary Shares:

  • Reserve Share Pools
    • Applicants in the NCB Insurance Company reserved pool will receive up to the first 11,110,000 units (Base Allotment) plus 29.6141% of the excess shares for which they applied above the Base Allotment in the reserved pool. The excess amounts that were not allocated in the reserved pool were rolled to the general pool (see general pool allocation in 2 below).
    • Applicants in the NCB Capital Markets Limited Pool will receive the full allotment.
    • Applicants in the Jamaican Teas Limited (JTL) and KIW International Limited (KIW) shareholders Pool will receive up to the first 76,000 units, plus 0.0321% of the excess shares for which they applied above the Base Allotment in the reserved pool. The excess amounts that were not allocated in the reserved pool were rolled to the general pool (see general pool allocation in 2 below).
    • Applicants in the Directors of QWI Investments Limited (QWI) Pool will receive full allotment
    • Applicants in the Directors and staff members of Jamaican Teas Limited Pool receive up to the first 4,000,000 units, plus 3.75% of the excess shares for which they applied above the Base Allotment in the reserved pool. The excess amounts that were not allocated in the reserved pool were rolled to the general pool (see general pool allocation in 2 below).
    • Applicants in the Jamaican Teas Limited Suppliers’ Pool will receive up to the first 5,000,000 units, plus 21.60% of the excess shares for which they applied above the Base allotment in the reserved pool. The excess amounts that were not allocated in the reserved pool were rolled to the general pool (see general pool allocation in 2 below).

 

  • General Public Pool
    • Subscribers from the General Public will receive up to the first 100,000 units (Base Allotment) plus 31.21880% of the excess shares for which they applied above the Base Allotment.
