Pan Caribbean Financial Services Limited (PCFS) has advised that PCFS and PanCaribbeanBank Limited are in no way associated with the recently established company called Pan Caribbean Sugar Company Limited, which reportedly purchased certain sugar factories from the Government.
Due to the significant number of queries from our customers, shareholders and regulators, we seek to clarify that Pan Caribbean Sugar Company Limited is not a part of the PanCaribbean Group and that neither Pan Caribbean Financial Services Limited nor its subsidiary, PanCaribbeanBank Limited have any business relationship, shareholding or other in the new company.
We are aware of the confusion caused by the fact that promoters of the new company have adopted a name similar to that of our publicly-listed and regulated companies and we will make every effort to resolve this matter to avoid further confusion in the market.
