Gregory has over 20 years of experience in the investment business. He received a B.A. degree in BatesCollege and started with Drexel Burnham in N.Y. Gregory was relocated to Atlanta to become the branch Sales Manager. In between short stays at Shearson Lehman Hutton and Prudential, Gregory moved to PaineWebber where he was a First Vice President/Sales Manager for the Buckhead office in Atlanta. In 1993, Gregory joined Bear Stearns as an Associate Director. In 2001, he was promoted to Senior Managing Director. At the beginning of his tenure with Bear Stearns, Gregory started an offshore custody business that grew to over $1 billion in total assets and had over 500 accounts from off-shore broker/dealers, banks and other various institutions. In April of 2005, Mr. Fisher joined Oppeheimer & Co., Inc as a Managing Director of Investments. His duties in the firm are very similar to those at his previous firm. Later, in August of that year, Oppenheimer officially opened a new branch labeled “Atlanta International”, comprised by 7 professionals and headed by Gregory Fisher.
