Meet Mr. Omar Azan, President of the Jamaica Manufacturers Association, he will be one of the speakers at the JSE Conference to be held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel; under the theme: “Revival of the Fittest”. Mr. Azan will be speaking on the topic ” Is Manufacturing Dead? If so how can it be revived?”
Mr. Omar Azan is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Boss Furniture, a leading Jamaican manufacturer and exporter. Mr. Azan has worked his way through the ranks of the Jamaica Manufacturers’ Association (JMA) for over (10) years, from Vice President, to Treasurer, to Deputy President, to President, a position he has held since June 2007.
Mr. Azan, an entrepreneur for over twenty (20) years, and an avid believer of offering your service for the development of your country, also serves on the Board of the Export-Import (EXIM) Bank of Jamaica, as the Budget Chair, on the Board of the Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ) and as a Board Member of the Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC).
