According to Mr. Christopher Williams, Managing Director of NCB Capital Markets “This is a great step in bridging the gap between the sophisticated and the average investor, as the challenge that the capital market faces is a lack of awareness and understanding by investors. He went on to say “that there is no doubt that the capital market is a great investment vehicle which is not being utilized by most Jamaicans, because of lack of understanding. However this historic move by JNN and the JSE will allow the average Jamaican to take advantage of this great investment vehicle”.
