JSE eCampus presents BUSINESS VALUATION WORKSHOP on March 29, 2017

Business valuation is a process used to determine the economic value of a business; in other words, what a business is worth. Do you understand your Company’s worth?

 Wednesday, March 29, 2017  – 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

at the Courtleigh Hotel  and Suites – Cost: J$17, 500 (incl. of GCT)

OVERVIEW

As the economic climate continues to change it is becoming increasingly important to keep track of your business’ value. Business values constantly go up and down, and even if you had your business valued only a year ago, it probably will not have the same value today.  This in essence informs the expected price the business would sell for by determining its fair market value. There are several reasons for undergoing a business valuation. Some examples include buying or selling a business, succession planning, and justification of equity value for investors or lenders. Most importantly, business valuations allow for informed decisions to be made about the direction the company should take as it goes through the different stages of growth.

“Business Valuation: Understanding Your Company’s Worth” is designed with the assistance of our expert facilitators who are renowned in the Financial Services Industry. This workshop will provide you with valuable information on business valuation from three key perspectives, namely the business owner, the broker and the valuator.
