JMMB Group Limited (JMMBGL) has advised that the Company has decided that it is the right time to pull out innovation from its information (IT) operations, and create an Innovation Centre in partnership with Sheldon Powe, Group Chief Information Officer.
“For 21 years, Sheldon Powe has led the JMMB IT team serving the technological needs of the JNMMB Group through its rapid expansion of business lines across the region. As a creative, innovative, entrepreneurial minded IT professional and systems engineer, we are happy that Sheldon has agreed to take on the challenge of creating this Innovative Centre in partnership with JMMB Group. Accordingly, Sheldon has reduced responsibilities in Group, and will concentrate on the creation of the Innovative Center for the next 2 months. He will resign effective May 31, 2018, to take up the pioneering role of CEO of the Innovation Center, which is targeted to begin operations on June 1, 2018”, advises JMMBGL.
JMMBGL further advises that Reece Kong, current Chair of the Group Information Technology Board Committee, under contract for services, has assumed short term oversight responsibility of IT as Sheldon transitions to the Innovation Center and as JMMBGL seeks to standardize their operating platforms across the Group.
