The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) profoundly regrets the passing of the late Sushil Jain

Sushil will be deeply missed by his family here at the JSE.

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) profoundly regrets the passing of the late Sushil Jain and extends sincere condolences to his family and friends. We and his colleagues in the financial service community share in their bereavement.

Sushil Jain was a great friend and vigilant champion of the Stock Market and he freely provided us with his expertise in a number of key areas.  For over 12 years, he faithfully served as a member of our Best Practices Awards Committee and he also served on or chaired 4 of its sub-committees over that period.  Sushil mentored companies on the Junior Market and served on the board of one of them. He also acted as a moderator at every annual Regional Conference held by the JSE since 2009 and presented at various JSE forums, earning considerable admiration for his practical and engaging style of delivery. He was a loyal attendee at a variety of JSE events ranging from Public Outreaches, Award Ceremonies, Luncheons, Breakfasts, Church Services and Workshops.

Mr. Jain was notable, not only for his dependability, wit and probing 6-part questions but for his meticulous attention to detail and timely feedback, which helped ensure that information disseminated from the Exchange and its members was appropriate and accurate.  Sushil will be deeply missed by his family here at the JSE.
